Izabella Pop (b. 1997) is a flutist based in Düsseldorf, whose artistic focus lies primarily on contemporary music. She completed her Master’s degree (final recital in July 2025) and Bachelor in Flute Performance at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in the classes from Prof. Andre Sebald and Evelin Degen. Artistically, she has been active with ensembles such as Ensemble Studio Musikfabrik, notabu.ensemble, Antiphon Orchestra. She participated in several projects with Studio Musikfabrik and was also engaged there in 2024, 2025 as coach at the Chamber Music Workshop. She was a member of the Tonhalle Düsseldorf’s Youth Symphony Orchestra (2019–2021) as well as the EVCM Ensemble of the German Music Council (2021–2024), and has performed at festivals such as Acht Brücken Cologne, Essen NOW!, and Warsaw Autumn. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Düsseldorf-based ensemble Aroura No. π. Izabella has received numerous awards, including First Prize at the International Flute Competition "Emanuel Elenescu." She was a recipient of the Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now scholarship, the Deutschlandstipendium, and the DAAD scholarship. In summer 2025, she took part in the "Students in Residence" program at Palazzo Ricci in Montepulciano.
